Cabled Riding Jacket

Here is the current progress on the Cabled Riding Jacket. I started working on it about two weeks ago again. I am SOOOOO busy with school and work, but still find the time to watch a few of my favorite tv shows and have been knitting while watching. So I could not stand to work on the front and back at the same time, it was too difficult with six balls of yarn. Turning this beast after each row took nearly as much time to do as knitting each row. So I completed the back this afternoon right before I went to class. I love this sweater and can't wait for it to be done!!
It is kind of a funky looking picture. The wired lumps are the balls of yarn that go to each of those sides. I basically sewed them to the sweater to keep them out of my way while I worked on the back. I ran the yarn I am using to hold the live stitches right through the middle of the balls of yarn and pulled it all tight together. If I keep working hard, maybe I will be wearing this by the end of the year!!! Yea!

It does look funky. Does it seam up somewhere? I guess I'm not sure which part is what. But it is going to be so cool! Are you bringing it up here next week? I have so many projects to work on when you're here. I need to get all my Christmas stuff done!

Wow you've really made a lot of progress! Great description on the turn process - I can *almost* imagine how difficult that much wool is to flip over with all the parts hanging from it!

I have something I need to snail mail you still! Do you have a P.O. Box?
